Ongachi is a passionate young artist whose unique sound is characterized by her sinfully deep alto tones and an unforgetable soulful rasp. Her music can only be described as raw, rich
and real. Her rich alto tones are remnant of a young Tracy Chapman, while her
perspective is that of mental Freedom of African youth from society's
expectations and their own on what life should be.
She writes music that communicates that it's okay to be imperfect and not have it all figured out
yet. And that it's possible to go against the grain and still succeed.

Ongachi is an active member of a choral ensemble that has had her travel to countries such as the United States. As a graduate of Sauti Academy's artist development program, she has gone on to perform in several events including the annual Kahawa Festival 2018.
Ongachi believes in hard work, excellence,integrity and continuous learning.
